SKILLED NURSING CARE
(MEDICARE)
For those who
require temporary assistance while recovering from
hospitalization or major illness. Professional nursing
care is provided 24 hours a day by Registered and
Licensed practical nurses and certified nursing
assistants. Each resident's individualized plan of
care is prepared with the guidance of your personal
physician. Other services include physical therapy,
occupational therapy, respiratory therapy, and speech
therapy.
For rehabilitation
following a major illness Medicare insurance can be
utilized for those who have met the guidelines, i.e.
three-day hospitalization prior to admission.
Residents receive an intensive and comprehensive
program to facilitate recovery from their illness or
accident. A weekly utilization monitors the resident's
progress and makes future treatment and living
transition plans. When rehabilitation potential has
been achieved, our restorative nursing staff steps in
to help the resident maintain their renewed abilities
and pursue the highest quality of life possible.
